Well another week as rolled by, political turmoil here in Australia, no changes there. I started a new job selling cloud computing, and horror, they gave me a iPhone and a Mac Book Pro. I send a photo to my wife of my new laptop boxed on my desk and she just laughed and laughed.
So I have been using the thing for a few weeks and it’s ok. Don’t flood me with comments about how to use the features but I find 2 thinks really annoying.
1. no 2 button mouse, Yes I know hold down a key on the keyboard and it works.
2. no ALT key, realy the OPTION key should be the ALT key… not Command C is copy…
The display is amazing… the brushed aluminum case is sexy, I know why Apple is a winner, it looks great. I will continue to use it, I have windows running on it as well, – funny you give a guy a Mac but some business apps run only under windows.

I love my mac at work, but I plug a windows keyboard into it. I hate command-c, command-v but I’ve learned to live with it (drives me nuts when I switch back and forth, like indicators on the wrong side of the wheel)
As for the right click – I’ve turned that on on my magic mouse in system preferences – not sure about the touch pad, but have a strong feeling you can have a right-click on that – but otherwise plug in a pc mouse or get a bluetooth magic mouse (they really are magic)
