Wow. I cannot believe it has been 3 months since my last post.
Time does fly..
So here is a quick update on the Nation of Crocombe
1. Cloud Salesguy – classic fail. I have gone back to my “old ways” selling for a IT distributor. I just could not get my head around selling the “cloud” i am a believer but it is a very difficult sales process. PS. No Mac product in my life!
2. Schooling – we have moved the kids back to a local private school. 7 years of driving the kids to and from school took it’s toll. We now have 1.5 hours more a day and no big fuel/ car maintenance bill. Still early days but interested to see how the bank balance is effected. 3 Kids get MacBook Air’s 8-(
3. Phones – why are there so few phone makers that have a dual SIM phone? I have decided to never surrender my personal number, after a few jobs with a company provided phone and moving numbers etc. You never tell everyone and it’s usually an important one that you miss. Like the Doctor or Dentist! So I now have a dual Sim Android phone and I love it.
4. Debt Reduction – I had a pretty large tax bill – that I have been paying off every week for the last 3 years and it is now down to not much, it should be paid out completely in the next 2 months. Disappointed that it got to the size it did, but proud to have paid it down to almost nothing.
