I get an allowance for travel from my employer, I can do it monthly or weekly. Which would you choose? Weekly increases my cashflow, but monthly is likely to be almost $1k so I could get lump sum? What to do?

Sometimes too much cashflow can cause poor spending habits. If I could do without it, I would absolutely always choose to wait longer for supplemental money/pay. It’s like a temporary savings account. No?
